Mike was co-hosting open mic nights in the Region when he met Karl. While playing some original music at the open mic nights, the guys knew that the music felt elevated and something good was going on. Mike and Karl, along with the Region Buzz 219 team went into the studio in March of 2025.
They all went into the studio as solo artists. They had some good times making this album; laughing, creating, pushing each other, and some crying too. The bonding was a natural experience there. Toward the end of the sessions Mike and Karl talked of forming a band. Being a band felt natural as the studio work brought them together.
The Band Dudes are on their journey show casing the original material. The album “Find My Way” has 8 tracks on it. It is described as Americana with a sassy edge to it. We are gigging around the Region and the South Suburbs. We are looking forward to the release party on Friday October 10th at Evil Horse Alehouse in Crete. We have the backing that night of the studio band that helped put the album together
